Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as an onsite Occupational Therapist supporting two schools near Gettysburg, PA. This contract position offers a consistent weekly schedule, providing essential therapy services primarily to high school and elementary-aged students. Take advantage of a long-term assignment working in a collaborative educational environment where your expertise will help students thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) certification, required at the time of application Previous pediatric or school-based therapy experience highly preferred Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with students, staff, and families Comfortable working with a diverse range of students across high school and elementary levels Adherence to ethical and professional standards in therapy practice
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services onsite, adapting interventions to support students' functional and educational success Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to promote an inclusive learning environment Assess students, develop individualized plans, and track progress towards therapy goals Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Consult with families to support students' carryover of skills in the home setting where appropriate Travel between two school sites during the workweek This position is full-time, averaging 35 hours a week, with estimated workdays from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, from ASAP through May 28, 2027.
