Job Description

Key Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist certification required and must be provided prior to placement Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred Proven ability to work with diverse student populations, particularly at elementary and high school levels Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and scheduling responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, fostering their educational and developmental success Evaluate and create individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs within the school environment Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other professionals to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines Maintain thorough and timely documentation that aligns with school and regulatory requirements Split time between New Oxford Elementary and New Oxford High School, according to assignment needs Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans Maintain professional standards throughout the assignment from start date through May 28, 2027 Imagine the satisfaction of advancing students skills while enjoying a stable weekday schedule from 8:00 to 3:30, totaling 35 hours each week.
