Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, providing essential support to preschool and elementary-aged students. This contract role is perfectly suited for a dedicated professional eager to make a meaningful difference within a vibrant educational setting. Working onsite for 20 hours each week, you'll collaborate with staff and families to promote student independence and participation in the school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of MA Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school-based settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, educators, and parents Ability to create engaging, individualized therapy plans for young learners
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop targeted therapy plans for preschool and elementary students Deliver direct and consultative OT services to support students academic success and functional participation in school Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families as part of a multidisciplinary team Maintain timely and thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
