Desired Qualifications:

Active, valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license, or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification for Vermont or eligibility to obtain Prior experience delivering OT services in a school-based setting preferred Familiarity with IEPs, goal setting, and progress monitoring Strong collaboration skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Enthusiasm for supporting students with diverse needs in both individual and group sessions

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations to identify students motor, sensory, and functional needs within the school environment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with educational goals Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and progress updates Collaborate with teachers and support staff to adapt environments and materials for student success Document services and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines Provide guidance and strategies to families and caregivers for reinforcing progress at home This role presents the chance to engage with a vibrant student population, bring your expertise to a collaborative school team, and enjoy the satisfaction of making a significant difference throughout the academic year.
