Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in the state Experience working with school-aged children preferred Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and families Ability to manage a diverse caseload and provide both direct and consultative services Commitment to fostering student independence and participation in school routines

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' occupational therapy needs Develop and execute individualized intervention plans to support academic goals Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust strategies Provide direct therapy in small groups and one-on-one settings Document sessions, maintain records, and contribute to IEP meetings as required Educate staff and families about recommendations and adaptations for classroom and home environments
