9607338-93535 Job Description Step into an exciting role supporting student success as a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a contract position beginning August 3rd. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the educational setting, collaborating with school professionals to deliver exceptional occupational therapy services. Enjoy a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, working 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, totaling 40 hours each week.

Desired Qualifications:

Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current certification as a COTA. Valid state licensure for occupational therapy assistants. Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational environment. Strong collaborative skills for working with occupational therapists, educators, and families. Excellent communication, adaptability, and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy interventions as outlined by the supervising OTR. Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and functional life skills applicable to their academic setting. Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and student progress. Assist in gathering and organizing caseload details specific to assigned students. Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insight for student objectives. Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to ensure integration of therapy strategies across classroom activities. Adjust therapy plans in response to student progress and teacher feedback.
