  • Occupational Therapist (OT): $50-$65/hour, based on experience
COTA:
$33-$40/hour, based on experience

  • Relocation assistance availableWe are seeking a compassionate and reliable Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a growing outpatient therapy team in Tumwater, WA.
Experienced OTs are preferred, but a qualified COTA may also be considered.

The clinic primarily serves pediatric patients, with an expanding adult population related to vision therapy. This is an onsite role with an established caseload and a supportive environment focused on quality patient care and long-term relationships.

OT Responsibilities
  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based, child-centered therapy
  • Address developmental, sensory, motor, functional, and self-care needs
  • Develop and monitor individualized goals
  • Provide caregiver education and home recommendations
  • Complete clinical documentation and progress updates
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals involved in patient care
  • Build strong, positive relationships with patients and families
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing educationCOTA Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising OT
  • Provide engaging, child-centered therapeutic interventions
  • Address fine motor, visual motor, sensory, self-care, regulation, and functional skills
  • Document patient progress and treatment activities
  • Provide appropriate caregiver education and home recommendations
  • Communicate and collaborate with the supervising OT and therapy team
  • Help maintain a positive and supportive therapy environmentCommon Areas of Treatment

  • Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active Washington State OT license
  • Current NBCOT certification
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dependable, ethical, compassionate, and patient-focused
  • Interest in building a long-term career within a collaborative clinicRequirements - COTA
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Active Washington State COTA license
  • Current NBCOT certification
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focusedCandidates must have an active Washington license and required certification before starting.
Pending licenses or certifications will not be considered.
