• Position Overview
• We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a school-based team serving Early Childhood, 4K, and Elementary students in the Sun Prairie area. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help students achieve functional and educational goals.
• Caseload
• + Approximately 32 students + 24 Direct Service + 8 Consultation + Early Childhood, 4K, and Elementary populations + Site assignments may vary depending on student needs
• Responsibilities
• + Deliver occupational therapy interventions under the direction of a supervising OT. + Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, self-help, and school participation skills. + Document services and student progress. + Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers. + Assist in implementing accommodations and adaptive strategies in educational settings.
• Qualifications
• + Active Wisconsin COTA license and certification. + School-based or pediatric experience preferred. + Ability to work effectively with young learners and educational teams. + Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Supervision
• + Direct supervision and support provided by a licensed Occupational Therapist on staff.
