Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) -
School-Based Location:
Sun Prairie, WI Start Date:
ASAP Duration:
Temporary assignment with potential to extend through a semester or full school year

Full-Time Compensation:
$40-$45/hour Position Overview We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a school-based team serving Early Childhood, 4K, and Elementary students in the Sun Prairie area. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help students achieve functional and educational goals. Caseload Approximately 32 students 24 Direct Service 8 Consultation Early Childhood, 4K, and Elementary populations Site assignments may vary depending on student needs Responsibilities Deliver occupational therapy interventions under the direction of a supervising OT. Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, self-help, and school participation skills. Document services and student progress. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers. Assist in implementing accommodations and adaptive strategies in educational settings. Qualifications Active Wisconsin COTA license and certification. School-based or pediatric experience preferred. Ability to work effectively with young learners and educational teams. Strong organizational and communication skills. Supervision Direct supervision and support provided by a licensed Occupational Therapist on staff.
