Private Optometry Practice is hiring a full time Optician, someone with optical sales experience, Licensed Opticians are encouraged. We are looking for someone that is self motivated and has strong organizational skills. The office is open Monday-Friday, no late evenings or weekends. Experience with vision plan benefits and billing is strongly recommended. Hourly rate based upon experience and if licensed.

• Candidate can be a Licensed Optician or have at least a year experience. Pay will be determined by experience and whether the candidate has a license.
• Job responsibilities may include:
• Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and color, and ensure that frames are coordinated with facial and eye measurements and optical prescriptions.
• Maintain records of customer prescriptions, work orders, and payments.
• Perform administrative duties such as tracking inventory and sales, submitting patient insurance information, and performing simple bookkeeping.
• Pull up vision benefits and explain and utilize those benefits
• Billing vision plans
• Frame board management, meeting with Frame Representatives
• Order contact lenses
• Dispense optical orders
• Frame adjustments
• Customer service with strong communication skills

$24.00 - $33.00 per year
