The ideal candidate is passionate about health and wellness, creates a welcoming and inclusive environment, and inspires participants to achieve their personal fitness goals through dynamic, music-driven workouts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plan and lead high-quality indoor cycling classes for participants of varying fitness levels. Create motivating class profiles that incorporate endurance, interval, strength, and recovery training. Provide clear instruction on proper bike setup, riding technique, and safety procedures. Encourage and motivate participants while offering modifications to accommodate different fitness levels and physical abilities. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive class environment. Arrive early to prepare the studio, equipment, and music; remain after class to answer participant questions and ensure the studio is clean. Monitor participant safety throughout each class and respond appropriately to emergencies. Inspect cycling equipment before and after classes and report maintenance issues promptly. Qualifications Current nationally recognized Indoor Cycling Instructor certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM, Schwinn, Stages, or equivalent). Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification. Previous group fitness or indoor cycling instruction experience preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills. Ability to lead classes with enthusiasm, professionalism, and confidence. Strong knowledge of exercise principles, heart rate training, and cycling techniques. Physical Requirements Ability to demonstrate cycling techniques and exercises for extended periods. Ability to lift, move, and adjust indoor cycling equipment (up to 30 pounds). Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements during classes. Ability to work weekends Promote member engagement, retention, and participation in group fitness programs. Maintain current certifications and attend required staff meetings and training sessions. Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Pay:

$30.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 per week
