In this role, you will lead engaging and effective Pilates classes focused on mat exercises, helping clients improve their core strength, flexibility, posture, and overall body awareness. Responsibilities Lead group mat Pilates classes by demonstrating exercise routines clearly and effectively, ensuring proper technique and safety. Design tailored Pilates programs that accommodate various skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Motivate clients through energetic coaching, providing modifications and progressions to maximize results. Educate participants on body mechanics, biomechanics, physiology, and anatomy to enhance their understanding of movement principles. Ensure safety protocols are followed during classes, including manual handling techniques and first aid procedures when necessary. Maintain a positive class atmosphere that encourages participation, confidence, and enjoyment for all attendees. Support the promotion of classes through excellent customer service and client communication skills, contributing to the growth of the fitness program. Qualifications Proven experience in Pilates instruction with certification in Pilates (mat-based preferred). Demonstrated ability to teach exercise routines effectively in a group setting with motivational coaching skills. Knowledge of health and safety standards including CPR/AED certification and first aid training. Experience working in a health club or fitness environment is preferred.
