Job Description

Job Summary Are you a high-energy fitness professional who loves celebrating client wins? We are seeking an enthusiastically encouraging, deeply positive Certified Personal Trainer to join our team at our new location in Gaithersburg, Maryland. In this role, you will deliver premium, 1-on-1 personal training utilizing cutting-edge adaptive resistance machines. No experience with adaptive technology? No problem! We will fully train you on our proprietary Fit Club system of training. If you bring an infectious, optimistic attitude and a passion for biomechanics, we will teach you the tech. Must be excited to work with clients of all ages (16 and up) and all fitness levels (from beginners to seniors to athletes).
Duties and Requirements Personality:
Unshakable positive attitude, high energetic output, and a natural ability to enthusiastically encourage others.
Coachability:
Absolute willingness and excitement to learn a new, proprietary fitness methodology and technology stack.
Certification:
Nationally accredited Personal Training Certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, or NSCA).
Safety:
Valid, current CPR/AED certification. Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions, ensuring proper exercise form and safety procedures are followed Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting workout to optimize results and prevent plateaus Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their goals, concerns, and feedback Qualifications Certification from a recognized fitness organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ISSA) as a Personal Trainer or equivalent Valid CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certification required Must be able to pass a criminal background check At leas one year of personal training experience in fitness industry settings such as health clubs or gyms Strong understanding of strength training instruction and body mechanics for diverse populations including seniors and athletes Excellent client communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire individuals of all fitness levels Paid training will be provided for selected candidates. Additional hours will be available as we grow. Incentive bonuses for achieving new client membership goals and retention, ensuring that your dedication and success are rewarded.
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
