Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem Provide essential pharmacy support as a per diem pharmacist covering shifts in Hoover, AL, from Wednesday, September 2, through Friday, September 4. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with experience in inpatient medication verification and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough checking and verification of medications, including IV admixtures and TPNs. Ensure compliance with pharmacy protocols and safety standards. Utilize CareTend system effectively for accurate medication management.

Desired Experience:

Prior experience with infusion pharmacy preferred. Inpatient pharmacy experience, particularly with IV/TPN verification, is acceptable. Familiarity with CareTend or similar pharmacy systems.

Qualifications:

Current and active pharmacist license in Alabama, in good standing. Proven attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Schedule:

Wednesday, 9/2 through Friday, 9/4

Shift:

8:30 AM to 5:00 PM This per diem position offers the opportunity to contribute expertise during peak coverage periods.
