Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee pharmacy operations, manage clinical services, and support our mission of community health improvement. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in clinical pharmacy, team management, and healthcare compliance. Duties Lead and manage the pharmacy team to ensure efficient daily operations and high-quality patient service Oversee medication dispensing, compounding medications, and medication administration processes Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, USP 797 standards for sterile compounding, and HIPAA confidentiality policies Implement and monitor pharmacy software systems, Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS), Electronic Health Records (EHR), and EMR systems for accurate recordkeeping Conduct patient assessments, provide immunizations, and support pain management initiatives as part of comprehensive patient care Maintain inventory management, drug regulation compliance, and ensure pharmaceutical regulatory standards are met Collaborate with healthcare providers on medical management plans, including pediatrics, LTC (Long-Term Care), and clinical pharmacy services Requirements Valid pharmacist license with practicing authority in the relevant state Extensive experience in clinical pharmacy settings, including community or LTC pharmacy environments Critical care experience and a background in managing pharmacy teams effectively Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology Proficiency with pharmacy software systems, EMR/EHR systems, and aseptic techniques such as USP 797 standards Strong understanding of drug regulation laws, healthcare compliance policies, and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and immunizations preferred Experience with medication compounding, sterile techniques, and pain management protocols is highly desirable Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient service and clinical confidentiality Join us at St. John's Community Health to lead impactful pharmacy services that transform lives!
