Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently

• Participate in pain management and acute care initiatives
• Assist in medical management of patients, including pediatrics
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy to ensure appropriate medication administration
• Collaborate with emergency room (ER) staff for timely medication delivery
• Contribute to utilization review processes for medication utilization optimization
• Provide pharmaceutical care in intensive care unit (ICU) settings
• Deliver exceptional patient service and address patient concerns

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
• Active pharmacist license in the state of employment
• Strong knowledge of pain management, acute care, and medical management practices
• Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
• Proficiency in patient assessment techniques
• Familiarity with utilization review processes and protocols
• Ability to work effectively in an emergency room (ER) environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
