You will verify and dispense prescriptions, provide counseling on medications and therapies, administer immunizations, and perform drug utilization reviews to ensure optimal outcomes. You'll oversee daily pharmacy operations, including inventory, safety standards, and regulatory compliance, while collaborating with technicians and healthcare providers. Responsibilities Verify, prepare, and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely. Provide patient counseling on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and disease management. Administer immunizations and other pharmacist-led clinical services. Conduct drug utilization reviews to identify interactions, contraindications, and optimization opportunities. Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company pharmacy regulations and policies. Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including workflow, documentation, and quality controls. Manage inventory, ordering, storage, and handling of medications, including controlled substances. Collaborate with pharmacy technicians, store associates, and healthcare providers to coordinate patient care. Resolve insurance, billing, and prescription issues to support timely patient access to medications. Contribute to a culture of safety, customer service, and continuous improvement within the pharmacy.
