Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract Seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians for hospital pharmacy roles in the Richmond, IN area. These contract opportunities involve working in a fast-paced healthcare environment supporting medication distribution and compounding. Candidates with an active Indiana pharmacy technician license or the ability to obtain one are encouraged to apply, including those licensed in other states due to Indiana's straightforward licensing process.

Night Shift:
9:00 PM - 7:30 AM (7 days on, 7 days off)
Day/Afternoon Shift:
8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding in compliance with hospital standards Restock automated dispensing machines (Pyxis) efficiently and accurately Field calls directed to the pharmacy and assist healthcare staff with medication inquiries Deliver medications to hospital floors and ensure timely distribution Monitor medication expiration dates and properly remove expired products Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Active Indiana pharmacy technician license OR eligibility to obtain (Indiana license is accessible for out-of-state technicians) Minimum of 2 years of current hospital pharmacy technician experience Strong knowledge of sterile and non-sterile compounding procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills This contract assignment offers competitive hourly compensation and the opportunity to contribute to patient care in a hospital setting.
