Job Description
We are a locally owned and operated pharmacy and home medical equipment company. Our multiple locations provide services throughout Western Kentucky. We provide pharmacy retail services, home medical equipment, respiratory equipment, and diabetic supplies. The Pharmacy Technician schedule includes a rotation between opening shift 8:30am-5pm and closing shift 10am-6:30pm, every-other Saturday 8:30am-1:00pm, no Sundays or major holidays. Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities/Objectives Assisting pharmacist in all aspects of pharmacy services Monitor inventory levels continually. Monthly basis pull out dates and short dates Receiving and confirming prescription orders Working in RX-30 to process and fill prescriptions Responsible for getting outdated and partials returned for credit Other miscellaneous as requested by management Pharmacy Technician Job Knowledge/Objectives Demonstrate working knowledge of the aspects of pharmacy and home medical equipment Demonstrate working knowledge of office equipment (including adding machine, copier, digital duplicator, and fax machines) Has proper telephone etiquette Demonstrates general filing principles Demonstrates a working knowledge of pharmacy computer systems capable of processing a prescription through pharmacy computer Pharmacy Technician Benefits PTO Major Paid Holidays Medical, Dental, and Eye Insurance Employer Match 401-K plan Employee Discounts Off on all Sundays and every 3rd or 4th
