• 5:30 PM Job Summary We are looking for a Certified Phlebotomy Technician to join a laboratory team in San Diego, California.

The ideal candidate should have strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide professional and compassionate patient care in a laboratory setting. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients. Properly identify patients and verify specimen information. Prepare and label specimens accurately for laboratory testing. Follow proper specimen handling, processing, and transportation procedures. Maintain a clean and organized phlebotomy work area. Follow infection-control and safety procedures. Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare staff. Provide a comfortable and positive experience for patients during specimen collection. Maintain accurate documentation and follow laboratory protocols. Handle patient information according to privacy and confidentiality standards. Required Education High School Diploma or GED

• Required Required Certifications California State Phlebotomy Certification/License
• Required Must-Have Experience 2-6 years of laboratory experience preferred Previous phlebotomy experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and specimen-handling skills. Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment. Strong communication and patient-service skills. Language Requirements Bilingual in English and Spanish
