Qualifications:
Valid and current license to practice Physical Therapy in Georgia Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment is highly preferred Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators Advanced organizational and time management abilities
Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored physical therapy assessments and interventions to students with a variety of needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with students' educational requirements Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and creating documentation as necessary Provide support, training, and resources to teachers and families Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans in accordance with evolving needs Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with school district and regulatory policies In this role, you'll have the opportunity to build long-term relationships with students as they achieve their physical, developmental, and academic goals throughout the school year.
