Job Description

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking an Ortho Physical Therapist to deliver evidence-based outpatient orthopedic care within diverse healthcare and medical service settings. In this role, you'll evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions, design individualized rehab programs, manage post-op recovery, and collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive orthopedic evaluations and functional assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for musculoskeletal conditions Provide post-operative rehab for orthopedic surgeries (e.g., TKA, THA, rotator cuff) Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in EMRCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehab professionals on care plans Track functional outcomes and adjust interventions based on patient response Adhere to evidence-based practice, state practice acts, and facility policies Participate in professional development and occasional orientation to new sites Required Skills Orthopedic patient evaluation Manual therapy techniques Therapeutic exercise prescription Post-operative rehab (joint replacement, rotator cuff, ACL) Gait and balance training Pain management modalities Neuromuscular re-education Functional movement assessment EMR documentation Patient and family education
