Therapists work directly on the rehab floor, executing treatment plans and adjusting physical exercises as residents progress through recovery. This PRN role provides coverage during evaluation windows and floor care handoffs.

Starting rate of $52-$62/hr based on experience

PRN (As Needed) Qualifications & Requirements Active Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program

CPR / BLS

certification Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred Must pass a standard criminal background check Must pass a drug screening Reliable transportation for consistent attendance Responsibilities Conduct physical therapy evaluations and design individualized plan of care goals for short-term rehabilitation residents. Guide residents through mobility routines, gait training, and therapeutic exercises during daily therapy sessions. Document treatment progress, functional gains, and discharge plans in the electronic therapy management system. Coordinate with occupational therapists and floor nursing staff on resident mobility status and equipment needs.
