Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Conduct clinical assessments and document patient progress accurately following established documentation standards. Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, including manual therapy tools and therapeutic devices. Support patient care by providing manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and other physiotherapy modalities. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to optimize patient outcomes and coordinate discharge planning. Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards and electronic health records (EHR) management. Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, care plans, and post-discharge instructions to promote ongoing recovery and wellness. Spanish:

(Strongly Preferred) Proven experience with outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing facility, or home health settings is preferred. Skilled in physical therapy treatment implementation including manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy. Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver and client interaction across diverse populations. Ability to operate medical equipment safely and manage electronic health records efficiently. Familiarity with clinical assessment documentation standards and medical documentation practices.
