Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) -

PRN Shift:

Evaluate & Treat:

Perform assessments and assist with developing individualized treatment plans for our geriatric psychiatric population.

Collaborate:

Partner closely with physical therapists, physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to support mobility and safety goals.

Educate:

Provide instruction and support to patients, families, and staff related to mobility, safety, and rehabilitation strategies.

Document:

Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with hospital policy and professional standards.

Promote Safety:

Ensure safe mobility practices and adherence to fall prevention protocols.

Qualifications Licensure:

Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Kansas (required).

Education:

Graduate of an accredited PTA program .

Experience:

Prior psych or geriatric experience preferred, not required; strong new grads encouraged to apply.

Skills:

Excellent communication, critical thinking, assessment, and documentation skills.

Pay:

Up to $42.00 per hour Application Question(s): Are you able to work PRN (as-needed schedule) with daytime availability for assessments and coverage?
