Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - The Orchards at Three Rivers $2500 Sign-On Bonus for FT! Premium Rates for PRN! We are seeking a caring and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at The Orchards at Three Rivers, a premier healthcare provider in Three Rivers, Michigan. Role:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at The Orchards at Three Rivers, you will play a vital role in our rehabilitation department. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality physical therapy services to our residents.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Assisting Physical Therapists:
Providing direct patient care, including implementing treatment plans, performing exercises, and utilizing various modalities to promote patient recovery and improvement.
Conducting Patient Assessments:
Evaluating patients' physical function, range of motion, strength, and flexibility to develop individualized treatment plans. Communicating with
Patients and Families:
Educating patients and their families on the treatment plan, progress, and goals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Maintaining Accurate Records:
Documenting patient information, treatment plans, and progress in our electronic medical records system.
Requirements:
Education:
Associate Degree in
Physical Therapist Assisting Experience:
[ Minimum Years of Experience ] in a physical therapy setting, preferably in a long-term care or rehabilitation environment.
Certifications and Licenses:
Current PTA certification and licensure in the state of Michigan.
