We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a hospital-based rehabilitation team. This role provides the opportunity to work across both inpatient and outpatient settings, helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Position Responsibilities Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Provide therapeutic interventions, mobility training, gait training, and therapeutic exercise programs. Assist patients in the safe use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment. Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, reporting changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support positive patient outcomes. Deliver high-quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. Current state PTA license or eligibility for licensure. Previous inpatient and/or outpatient rehabilitation experience preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
