Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapy Technician - PRN (as needed) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will support licensed physical therapists in delivering exceptional rehabilitation services to diverse patient populations. Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient intake, positioning, and transfer methods using proper manual handling techniques Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for therapy sessions Support patients during therapeutic exercises, ensuring correct form and safety protocols are followed Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment notes, and session details in compliance with confidentiality standards Help with patient education on post-therapy care, physiotherapy exercises, and mobility strategies Monitor patients during therapy sessions for signs of discomfort or adverse reactions and report findings promptly Support hospital or outpatient clinical teams by managing patient transfer methods and assisting with rehabilitation care assistance Requirements Prior experience practicing in a physical therapy or rehabilitation role preferred; hospital or outpatient experience highly valued Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient transfer methods Demonstrated ability to handle manual tasks including heavy lifting and patient transfer techniques safely Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and client engagement Knowledge of CPR certification and current healthcare safety standards required Experience working in acute care, inpatient settings, or post-acute care environments is advantageous Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Physio-related certifications or training in rehabilitation practices are a plus but not mandatory Join us to be part of a team committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality physiotherapy services that truly make a difference. Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
