13-Week Contract Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team in Broken Arrow, OK. The PTA will provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) and help patients improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy interventions according to the PT's plan of care. Assist patients with exercises, mobility activities, and therapeutic treatments. Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment. Assist with patient education and home exercise programs. Communicate patient status and progress with the supervising Physical Therapist. Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection control standards. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate effectively with the PT and interdisciplinary healthcare team. Follow all applicable state and federal regulations and facility guidelines. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program . Active Physical Therapist Assistant license or ability to obtain an Oklahoma PTA license. Previous PTA experience preferred. Strong communication and patient-care skills. Ability to follow treatment plans and work under the supervision of a licensed PT. Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
