Job Overview Result driven outpatient physical therapy clinic seeking licensed physical therapist assistant /PTA for part-time, full-time, and PRN employment. As we continue to expand our services and grow as a company, we are looking to add another dynamic therapist to our existing team. Some of the services we offer include orthopedic, pediatric, neurological rehab , vestibular rehab, geriatric /fall risk programs and Aquatic therapy. Duties Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing personalized care plans for patients across inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, home health, and pediatric settings. Perform manual therapy techniques including trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and improve tissue flexibility. Implement physical therapy treatments such as therapeutic exercises, modalities, and functional activities tailored to individual patient needs. Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, ensuring proper use and maintenance. Document clinical assessments, treatment progress, and discharge planning accurately following clinical documentation standards and medical terminology guidelines. Collaborate seamlessly with healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists—to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain comprehensive electronic health records (EHR) management to ensure up-to-date medical documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations. Communicate clearly with patients and caregivers to explain treatment procedures, progress, and home exercise programs to foster understanding and engagement. Experience Prior experience working in outpatient clinics, inpatient units, skilled nursing facilities, or home health environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and related fields to support effective treatment implementation. Skilled in clinical assessment documentation and familiar with medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices. Experience operating medical equipment used in physiotherapy treatments such as ultrasound devices or electrical stimulation units. Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds—including pediatric patients, elderly populations, and individuals requiring acute or chronic care—ensuring compassionate caregiver communication. Inpatient experience combined with outpatient or skilled nursing facility exposure enhances your ability to adapt treatment strategies across settings. Discharge planning experience is advantageous for coordinating seamless transitions from hospital or facility care to home or community-based services.

Pay:

$26.00 - $31.00 per hour
