Job Description
Busy chiropractic office needs a reliable, multi-tasking, and caring front office person who has a passion for helping people. Responsibilities of the front desk are: Scheduling patient appointments & confirming future appointments Collecting payments, entering payment into patient accounts Answering phones Checking patients in/out Managing the flow of patients & sending them to appropriate rooms Getting paperwork ready for the doctor Entering patient information into the system, scanning some documents into the system Sending faxes Hours are Monday through Friday. We are closed Saturday and Sundays. Office hours are Monday & Wednesday 8:30-6pm (1 hour lunch break), Tuesday 8:30-5pm, Thursday 12-5pm and Friday 8:30-1pm. Staff arrives 30 minutes before opening to prepare for the day (for a total of about 35-38 hours a week.) Must be okay with dogs, Doctor's two small dogs come to work with her every day. Must refrain from smoking during all office hours. Must have reliable means to get to/from work. Must be able to multitask (especially during busy times) and communicate well with patients and staff! Paid federal holidays off Training in-house Paid vacation time Complementary chiropractic care for employee Health benefits after 90 days. Starting pay $17/hour All training is provided in office. Position to start immediately upon hiring.
