The facility is structured to ensure continuity of specialized care for the adult patient population served, with a permanent team of 4 MDs and 5 APPs available to support clinical operations. Locum tenens gastroenterology coverage is sought beginning ASAP on an ongoing basis. About the Facility Location La Crosse, Wisconsin is situated along the Mississippi River and framed by scenic bluffs, offering clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor pursuits. Activities include hiking at Grandad Bluff and Hixon Forest, river cruises, and birding trails throughout the area. The city also features arts and cultural venues such as the Pump House Regional Arts Center and the Weber Center for the Performing Arts, alongside local dining, brewing establishments, and notable landmarks including the World's Largest Six Pack and the Wisconsin Great River Road National Scenic Byway. About the Clinician's Workday The gastroenterologist will provide inpatient gastroenterology coverage on a 24-hour shift basis at this on-site facility in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Clinical responsibilities include managing inpatient gastroenterology cases Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with night call coverage required as part of the assignment. Clinicians will work alongside a support team of 4 permanent MDs and 5 APPs in accordance with established facility protocols. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for consideration.
