Locums About the Facility This approximately 200-bed facility in Wisconsin maintains established clinical infrastructure and protocols to support locum tenens cardiothoracic surgery coverage across operating room and emergency room settings. The facility is currently experiencing a vacancy and requires call coverage to ensure continuity of cardiothoracic surgical services. On-site resources are in place to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period. About the Facility Location Wisconsin offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor recreation and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. The state features parks, nature trails, waterfront areas, and educational and cultural venues distributed across its regions. Year-round activities are available throughout the state, providing accessible options for leisure during time away from clinical duties. About the Clinician's Workday The cardiothoracic surgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage across operating room and emergency room settings on an on-site basis in Wisconsin. Call is a required component of this assignment, structured at a 1:4 call ratio, and the clinician must maintain availability to respond to cardiothoracic surgical cases throughout each designated coverage period. Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery is required, and a record of cardiothoracic surgical experience is essential for consideration. APP support is available on-site to assist with coverage during the assignment.
