Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role making a difference in young lives through supporting students' academic and emotional growth. This contract opportunity extends through June 2027 and offers a full-time schedule during the academic year, serving students in grades 7-12. In this position, you'll play a vital role within an educational community dedicated to fostering achievement and well-being.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification or license (state-specific) Proven experience conducting special education evaluations, including initial assessments and re-evaluations Knowledge of best practices for psychoeducational assessment in middle and high school-aged populations Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to recommend appropriate supports Excellent communication, written, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a full evaluation caseload for students in grades 7-12 (no direct counseling required) Conduct all required re-evaluations and initial evaluations, ensuring compliance with timelines and documentation standards Prepare comprehensive written reports summarizing findings and recommendations Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings to present evaluation results and collaborate on student plans Engage with staff and families to support implementation of educational interventions and accommodations This opportunity offers a steady, meaningful contract schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
