Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting students and staff by providing psychological services for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity will require your expertise as a School Psychologist, beginning August 12th and covering the full school year. Your training and passion for student growth will directly impact a diverse population throughout the year.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or related field Experience performing psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention planning within a K-12 setting Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families Strong communication, organizational, and report-writing skills Familiarity with IEP processes and special education eligibility evaluations

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, and behavioral functioning Develop and help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment data and team input Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services to students and staff Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies promoting well-being and academic success Support positive behavioral interventions and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and modifications Complete thorough documentation and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations Working in this contract role offers the chance to build strong relationships in a supportive educational environment for the entire school year.
