This contract position involves serving a caseload of approximately 30 students, ranging from Pre-K through 8th grade. The assignment begins August 19 and continues through June 3, with in-person hours from 8 AM to 3 PM. In this engaging role, your expertise will support and advocate for the emotional, social, and academic needs of children at a pivotal stage in their development.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

Valid and current School Psychologist certification/license for practice in Illinois Prior experience working with Pre-K through middle school populations Ability to collaborate with diverse teams, including teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), assessment tools, and best practices in intervention and counseling Compassionate communicator with strong organizational and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological and academic assessments to help inform educational strategies Develop and implement tailored interventions for a manageable caseload of 30 students Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for students educational plans Consult with faculty and families to address student concerns Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere by delivering counseling and crisis prevention services Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations Make a meaningful impact this school year by bringing your professional insight and compassion to support students journeys from their first school days through 8th grade.
