Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade as a School Psychologist. In this rewarding role, you'll collaborate with educational teams to help foster student growth and well-being, providing essential psychological services in a vibrant school setting. The position begins immediately and runs through the academic year ending in May 2027, offering stability and the chance to build meaningful relationships.
Qualifications:
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement Background or experience working with students from PK to 8th grade preferred Strong understanding of behavioral, academic, and socio-emotional assessment tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret evaluation data Participate actively in eligibility determination and individualized education planning (IEP) meetings Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Offer consultation and recommendations for classroom intervention strategies Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements This full-time assignment consists of five days per week, providing the opportunity to work closely with students, staff, and families.
