As the School Psychologist for a single-school district serving approximately 700 students, you'll support PK-8 learners in an on-site, full-time role, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This opportunity allows you to develop your skills in a variety of settings, collaborate closely with dedicated educators, and gain invaluable experience that will enrich your resume. Qualifications:
Current IL PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement Demonstrated expertise in play-based assessment techniques Proficiency in conducting student evaluations using innovative, non-traditional methods beyond standardized psychoeducational tools Passion for supporting the academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of PK-8 students
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning plans Utilize play-based and alternative evaluation methods tailored to student needs Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and deliver timely recommendations
