Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract School Psychologist - Calumet City, IL Soliant is seeking a qualified and experienced School Psychologist for an on-site opportunity with a school district in the Calumet City, Illinois area. This position serves students in grades PK-8 within a smaller, single-school district of approximately 700 students. ## Position Details

                8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
                  Lunch:
                  30-minute unpaid lunch
                  • Approximately 32.5 paid hours per week, pending district confirmation
                  • On-Site Only ## Responsibilities
                  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students across PK-8
                  • Complete initial evaluations and reevaluations to determine student eligibility and educational needs
                  • Utilize play-based assessment strategies, particularly when evaluating younger students
                  • Evaluate students using a variety of assessment methods beyond traditional standardized psychoeducational batteries
                  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
                  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, parents, and other related service providers
                  • Interpret assessment data and provide appropriate educational recommendations
                  • Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional development
                  • Complete evaluation reports, documentation, and other required paperwork in accordance with district and state guidelines ## Requirements
                  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement
                  • Strong experience with play-based assessment
                  • Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations using methods beyond traditional standardized psychoeducational assessments
                  • Experience working with PK-8 students preferred
                  • Strong communication, collaboration, assessment, and report-writing skills
