9498712-48111 Job Description Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist in Monroe County for the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite role offers the chance to make a significant impact across multiple school locations, providing vital services to students from diverse backgrounds. With three positions available, you'll collaborate with dedicated educators and be a crucial member of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Michigan School Psychologist license required (ensure active status through the official state portal) Previous experience in school psychology preferred, especially in K-12 environments Background in assessment, counseling, and intervention planning for a range of student needs Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families Strong organizational and documentation skills Enthusiasm for serving in an onsite, collaborative setting Willingness to work across multiple school locations in
Monroe County Role Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and consultation Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to identify student needs and develop individualized plans Support crisis intervention and response as needed Participate in IEP meetings, prepare reports, and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state requirements Promote positive school climate and contribute to multi-tiered systems of support Manage a weekly workload of 37.5 hours, working with students in grades K-12 This contract position offers a competitive pay rate for travel professionals, allowing you to maximize your impact and career growth as you support Monroe Countys vibrant school community.
