Job Description

Advance your career while making an impact in the educational setting as a School Psychologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This is a contract-based opportunity for three dedicated professionals eager to provide valuable support to K-12 students at multiple school sites in an engaging, collaborative environment. The positions are fully onsite and span Jefferson, Monroe Public, and other area schools, serving diverse student needs across Monroe County. Utilize your expertise to assess, counsel, and support students, working alongside educators and families to foster academic and emotional success. This is a fantastic role for professionals committed to a holistic, student-centered approach.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Michigan School Psychologist license (required; please verify active credential via the Michigan online credential system before applying) School experience preferred, especially in K-12 settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families Proficient in conducting evaluations and developing intervention plans
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments Collaborate with school teams to develop and monitor IEPs and intervention plans Provide consultation to teachers and administrators regarding student behavior and learning difficulties Deliver individual and group counseling services Support crisis intervention and response, as needed Maintain accurate records and prepare required reports
