Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification (state-appropriate and up-to-date) Master's or Specialist degree in School/Educational Psychology Previous experience working in K-12 school settings strongly preferred Comprehensive understanding of special education processes and student support services Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Adaptability—willingness to support multiple locations if required
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct student assessments/evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide crisis intervention and promote positive behavioral supports Collaborate with educators and administrators to implement intervention strategies Address student learning and behavioral needs through tailored support plans Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation to ensure compliance with district and state requirements Offer consultation and resources to families, teachers, and other stakeholders Gain valuable experience, develop your skills, and work alongside dedicated professionals committed to supporting every learner.
