Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Discover a rewarding opportunity as a contract School Psychologist supporting students from elementary through high school in a welcoming educational environment near Conover, NC. This full-time position runs through May 28, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week. You'll play a key role working with a diverse student caseload, focusing on re-evaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, and functional behavioral assessments. Occasional initial evaluations will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring a dynamic and engaging day-to-day experience. Further specifics about the caseload and expectations will be shared during the interview process.
Qualifications & Preferred Background:
Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist Previous experience in educational settings with students K-12 Skilled in re-evaluation reviews and eligibility determinations Experience conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities Ability to manage a varied caseload across elementary, middle, and high school levels Commitment to supporting diverse learners and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
