Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students' growth and well-being in a collaborative school environment! This vital role is dedicated to providing school psychology services for middle and high school students, ranging in age from 12 to 18, with some special education cases extending up to age 21. Taking place in a connected campus serving both New Oxford Middle and High Schools, you'll guide a caseload that typically grows to around 25 students by the end of the school year.
Position Details:
Contract dates: Start as soon as possible; continue through May 28, 2027 Consistent weekday schedule: 7:10 am - 2:40 pm, paid for 7 hours daily (totaling 35 hours paid/week) Both schools are conveniently located together, supporting seamless collaboration and service delivery
Qualifications:
Current credentials as a School Psychologist (state certification required) Experience with adolescent populations, preferably in a school setting Familiarity with special education processes and regulations Strong skills in assessment, counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams Compassion, adaptability, and a student-centered mindset
