This opportunity involves working with middle and high school students across two locations, serving a caseload of 25 or more students. Qualifications/Experience:
Current certification and licensure as a School Psychologist. Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with middle and high school students. Strong understanding of educational and psychological assessment tools. Excellent skills in communication, consultation, and problem-solving. Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work effectively with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments for students to determine eligibility for special education services. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for students requiring psychological support. Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral management techniques as needed. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support students academic and social development. Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements. Serve as a resource for professional development and consult on best practices for student mental health.
