This rewarding position focuses on supporting students academic, behavioral, and emotional development in a collaborative school setting near Cranston, RI.

Qualifications/Experience:

Licensed or certified as a School Psychologist Prior experience in school-based psychological services, particularly at the elementary level Familiarity with conducting psychoeducational assessments Strong knowledge of IEP processes and special education procedures Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, staff, and families Ability to efficiently manage documentation and meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

Provide direct psychological and counseling services to elementary-aged students Carry out comprehensive student evaluations to identify learning and behavioral needs Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and progress reports Participate in and contribute to team meetings with educators, administration, and families Support the implementation of intervention strategies and positive behavioral supports in classrooms Maintain accurate, timely records and ensure compliance with school and district policies This contract opportunity offers an engaging part-time schedule, allowing you to balance your professional work with your personal life while making a lasting impact on young learners.
