Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in student lives by supporting their academic and emotional development in this impactful contract role working as a School Psychologist. Contribute your clinical expertise and dedication to students ages 321, within a school environment that values collaboration and professional growth. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time opportunities available, with preference for full-time. Your skills will help shape successful interventions, assessments, and educational support for a diverse population.
What Were Looking For:
Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Current Rhode Island School Psychologist certification (RIDE 5403) Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Experience collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Dedication to culturally responsive and equitable support for students
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational evaluations to determine students needs Support IEP development, eligibility determination, and student intervention planning Provide counseling, behavioral support, and crisis intervention as needed Collaborate regularly with teachers, school staff, administrators, and families Engage in progress monitoring, data collection, and ongoing consultation Adapt services based on the needs of each assigned school or program Support proactive mental health initiatives and contribute to a positive school climate Enjoy the satisfaction of positively impacting students well-being throughout the school year. This contract runs through June 18, 2027, offering job stability in a collaborative environment where your expertise is truly valued.
