1 Description American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a night shift position requiring ARRT MR certification and
KBMIRT MR
licensure. Details Radiology/MRI department setting Third shift schedule, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Thursday 40 hours per week with no weekends and no call Uses EPIC and Enterprise Imaging (EI) systems for charting and study management Requirements Associate's degree from a JRCERT accredited Radiology Program Current BLS certification ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification required Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) MR License required if applicable Ability to occasionally push, pull, and lift objects up to 50 lbs, and up to 100 lbs with assistance Ability to frequently move between departments and buildings, and sit for prolonged periods Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for equipment operation and data entry Advanced verbal and written communication skills Additional Information Execute diagnostic MRI imaging with limited supervision Screen patients and verify screening forms to ensure safety, including x-ray clearance by radiologist when indicated Obtain patient history and assess medication needs prior to exams Prep patients for exams, including clothing changes and procedure explanations Administer contrast media under physician direction per department policy Monitor patients throughout MRI exams and maintain a safe environment Perform daily equipment QA and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel Order and restock supplies and linens as needed Assist in other Radiology areas as needed Maintain accurate records and charting for all cases Adhere to department dress code and maintain a clean, professional work environment
