1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT or NMTCB Computed Tomography certification to join a hospital imaging department. Details Work in the CT Scan unit of a hospital-based imaging department Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule totaling 40 hours per week Perform computed tomography imaging for a variety of patient cases Assist radiologists with invasive procedures and contrast administration Utilize Epic and Enterprise Imaging systems for study documentation Requirements Associate's degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiology Program or equivalent military training with active ARRT certification BLS certification required ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) or
NMTCB CT
certification required Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) Radiography or CT License required if applicable No prior experience required Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and staff Additional Information Responsible for gathering patient histories, verifying orders, and maintaining accurate records Perform quality control checks on assigned imaging equipment and report malfunctions Order and restock supplies as needed May assist with patient transport when necessary Maintain a clean, professional, and orderly work environment in accordance with dress code Candidates must live within 75 miles of the facility or accept a local pay rate Documentation of last 4 digits of SSN and month/day of date of birth required for consideration
