Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional patient care and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic cardiac catheterization environment. Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in Cath Lab procedures for a contract opportunity. Work alongside a dedicated team utilizing the latest technology to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
Current and unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year recent experience in a Cath Lab setting Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities Proficiency with monitoring cardiac rhythms and providing patient education Ability to respond swiftly and effectively during emergent situations
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and related procedures Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring sterility and patient safety throughout Monitor patient status pre, intra, and post procedure, identifying and reporting changes promptly Administer medications, including conscious sedation, under established protocols Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support high-quality patient care and positive patient experiences Participate in patient and family education on post-procedure care and cardiac health This contract role offers the opportunity to develop your expertise in an advanced setting, enhance your clinical skill set, and contribute to improved cardiac care outcomes.
